FAQs

There is no question too big or too small for our veterinary
team. Below are some answers to our most common questions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where are you located?
Are you accepting new clients?
We are accepting new clients. However, since we are a one-doctor practice, new clients are booked out for about 4-6 weeks. We do our best to accommodate sick animals but sometimes have to refer to another practice due to a lack of availability.
Do you take payment plans?

The only payment plan we accept is CareCredit.

Do you see emergencies?
We do see some emergencies, depending on the nature of the problem. We are not a full-service emergency clinic. We are not open 24 hours.
Do you have puppy/kitten packages?

We do not offer new puppy/kitten packages. Our prices for these visits are reduced. We do offer special rates for litters.

Do you do ear crops?
No, we do not offer ear crops.
Do you do declaws?
No, we do not offer declaws.
Do you do toe nail trims?

Yes. This can be scheduled as a technician appointment so long as the pet is current on vaccines and is not having any problem with the feet/nails.

Do you do spays and neuters?

Yes. These procedures are usually done using our CO2 laser.

What do you charge for a dental?
We do not have a preset fee for the dental procedure as Dr. Thompson likes to evaluate the animal before the dental. The age and health of the pet, as well as the severity of the tartar, will affect the procedure. Each estimate is done individually for the pet after an exam by the doctor.
Can I get prescription medication for my dog/cat?
Pharmacy law requires a current client/patient relationship to dispense prescription medication. An existing client/patient relationship is defined as a minimum of a yearly examination. An exam for the specific condition may be required depending on the medication.
Do you groom?
We do baths. We do not do any shave-downs or breed-specific cuts.
Can I board my dog with you?

We do not board.
